EXCHANGING CURRENCY

 

Importers and exporters do not use the same currency. When they buy and sell goods they change money from one currency to another. There are two ways of doing this. First, the importer can pay in his own currency and the exporter changes it on the international currency market. Secondly, the importer sells his own currency and purchases the exporter's. Then the importer pays. Usually the banks buy and sell currency for their clients.

The. international currency market consists of a net of international banks. Exchange brokers and dealers deal in foreign exchange (Forex) transactions. The exchange rates change (or fluctuate) from day to day. For example, one day the exchange rate is 0.526 (zero, point five two six) pound sterling to a dollar, another day it is 0.520 (zero, point five two zero) pound sterling to a dollar. Dealers and banks choose the best rates and profit by Forex dealing.

ОБМЕН ВАЛЮТЫ

Импортеры и экспортеры не используют ту же самую валюту. Когда они покупают и продают товары, они меняют деньги с одной валюты на другую. Есть два способа сделать это. Во-первых, импортёр может заплатить в своей собственной валюте, а экспортёр меняет ее на международном валютном рынке. Во-вторых, импортёр продает свою собственную валюту и приобретает экспортёра. Затем импортёр платит. Обычно банки покупают и продают валюту для своих клиентов.

Международный валютный рынок состоит из сети международных банков. Валютные брокеры и дилеры совершают на валютном рынке сделки. Обменные курсы меняются (или колеблются) день ото дня. Например, один день обменный курс – 0.526 (ноль, точка пять два шесть) фунтов стерлингов за доллар, другой день - 0.520 (ноль, точка пять два ноля) фунтов стерлингов за доллар. Дилеры и банки выбирают наилучшие курсы и получают прибыль от проведения сделок на валютном рынке.
